I had a great birthday. First, my best beloved sweetie Gwalchgwyn got up early and made me coffee and even let me eat a piece of his cinnamon toast. Oh, and he had flowers and a card for me waiting on the kitchen counter. After that we did bills, which may not sound like fun, but being able to pay them sure is. I remember very well the years that I was too poor to do so. Then, Gifted_Oyster called me and we talked for a while. After that, Gwalchgwyn drove me to the spa, where I soaked in pools of varying degrees of hot, warm, cool and cold (with waterfall!), enjoyed the hot salt room and the sauna, and then repeated it all again. The friend that was to take me to lunch was delayed, so I ended up staying at the spa for almost 5 hours. It was wonderful.

After that, I was picked up and taken for a very light lunch, then for a bit of shopping and then, since lunch had been delayed, we went to dinner at Anthony's at Pt. Defiance and sat on the deck over the Sound. Great weather, wonderful seared ahi with ginger butter, and fresh raspberry sorbet covered with fresh raspberries, blackberries and blueberries for dessert.

Then, when I got home there were all the wonderful messages from all of you. I'm quite overwhelmed.

It was a very good birthday, and just the beginning of my birthday week.
