What I should be doing....

is sewing like the wind. I have three shirts to finish this weekend, and since I now have the measurements for 2 of the wedding doublets, I should at least get the patterns for those made and the fabric cut out. For those of you who aren't aware, I'm making costumes for some of Tamsen's family, for her youngest son Joe's wedding. The wedding's in May, but I need to finish them by the end of this month, since the 31st is the first rehearsal of a play I'm costuming. Sigh...I need the money, but I just can't seem to get myself motivated to sew. I think it would be easier, for the wedding stuff at least, if I had gotten Tamsen's fitting done before she left for the war.
At least I've heard from Tamsen on a regular basis, and I'm pretty sure, given what she does, she's outside of Iraq itself.

In other news, I still haven't heard from Dennis. I'm pretty sure he's in the north of Iraq, so it makes sense that he can't get a message through, but I really don't like that the RAF has had so many casualties, and, unlike the US, the Brit's don't list the names of their dead.

Have I meantioned I really hate this shit?

Sweetie I think you need to turn off the radio for a bit and lose yourself in sewing for awhile - for your sanity's sake.
