Thankful Thanksgiving
Nov. 24th, 2011 08:44 amIn no particular order:
I'm thankful for my husband. The best decision I ever made was to say "yes".
I'm thankful that, even though he has to work today, he has a job.
I'm thankful for my children, who have both turned out to be very cool people.
I'm thankful for my friends, who are there even when I am depressed and hide from the world.
I'm thankful for my family, and that I get along with them for the most part.
I'm thankful for the gift of music, which has made my life so much better.
I'm thankful for the gift of art, in all its myriad forms.
I'm thankful for the beauty and bounty of the earth, which sustains body and soul.
Oh, and I'm especially thankful for the spectacular sunrise next to Mount Rainier this morning, and that it was visible from my bedroom window. Way to go, Mom.
