carmenbeaudryI'm going to need a lot more time to process this weekend before I write about it in depth, if indeed I do. Suffice it to say that my traveling companions are the best, Drea was great, the company and food rocked, and I want to do it again SOON.
I'm also really inspired to sew more garb. However, this weekend confirmed for me that my judgement of historical costume construction is good enough to tackle two completely out of period research projects and possibly write them up for publication. Keep your fingers crossed that my inspiration sticks around to allow my health to catch up---I'm really exhausted.
