Yep, I do, and there are certain things that are non-negotiable.  The greatest of these is coffee.  I HAVE to have my coffee in the morning (I actually have a prescription for it) and life is way too short to drink crappy coffee.  So, my coffee is roasted about 2 miles from here at Vahalla Coffee, I buy it in small amounts once a week, grind it myself and it is truly heavenly.  Yes, I could get good coffee cheaper, but this is the best, I'm supporting a local small business, and sustainable organic agriculture is the countries of origin.

We need to get together for some and some visiting at some point. I miss you!!!

And I totally agree - life is too short for crappy coffee. I also drank my quota of awful coffee when I was much younger - my gut will no longer tolerate it...

Out of curiosity, how do you get a prescription for coffee?

I take a cocktail of drugs at night for fibromyalgia, arthritis, insomnia and anxiety. They work, I'm not in unbearable pain and I can actually sleep. The problem is, I'm absolutely worthless in the morning. However, the drugs that don't make me a zombie don't work, so the Dr. and I were talking over options for me to take in the morning, to give me some energy and allow me to function. We both decided that taking most of the normal stimulants was probably not a good idea. She suggested that I take low dose caffeine tablets, and I asked her if I could just drink a cup or two of coffee in the morning instead. She thought that was a good idea, and because standard proceedure for fibromyalgia and anxiety patients is to stop all caffeine, she put it into writing.
