They can talk. Right now, all three of them are telling me to get my butt downstairs and feed them.

Date: 2010-04-09 02:58 am (UTC)anyway, he teased her with something she really wanted a good sniff at and then pulled the bonk you on the nose joke(?) I saw it and he hit her very hard. way too hard. I was about to evict him from the apartment.
Sue was taking her cue from my face as she came down the hallway but Ashayet got there first. in perfectly pronounced English she told him to and I quote "fuck off asshole".
He looked at Sue and pointed at the cat. he looked at Sue again and then looked at me and then back at the cat. the answer to his unspoken question was "why yes, she did call you an asshole. we think so too. now its time to go!"
She had about 18 - 20 words that she could get her fangs around. she used them appropriately and surprised me on more than one occasion with a new and totally appropriate word, I didn't know she knew.
oh, Lily speaks english too.

Date: 2010-04-09 08:48 am (UTC)Oh, GOOD kitty! Only thing that would've been better would be to punctuate the sentence with a well-placed claw-swipe...
My fur-babies are quite able to express "Mommy, we're STARVING and NEGLECTED!" ("starving" = "it's within an hour of our usual Breakfast/Dinner time and you didn't feed us early").
