So we're going to war.......

I really agree with this. We've gotten to this point in all the wrong ways, for the wrong reasons, but now that we're here, we need to do it right.
I am very tired and afraid right now. I'm tired of being called unamerican, unpatriotic and anti-military because I am against this war being fought in this way. I am none of these things. I fly my American flag proudly most days of the year, I wear one on my jacket. I collect patriotic songs and I learned to sing while crying because there are times that just hearing the Star Spangled Banner is enough to make me tear up. As for being anti-military, nothing could be farther from the truth. It's partly because I support our military men and women that I don't want to see them fighting an unnecesary war. I'm also so tired of being told that if you aren't Christian, you can't be patriotic. I'm all for leaving those two little words out of the Pledge of Allegiance, not because I don't want to say it, but because I do, and I'm tired of leaving them out on my own.
So, that's why I'm tired. I'm scared because I have so many of "my people" in harm's way. I really have a bad feeling about this war.
rant off.....I hope and pray for better days ahead.
