Nov. 14th, 2003 11:20 pmAs many of you know, I have been hard at work the last couple of months
costuming a production of "The Lion in Winter". Well, opening night was
tonight, and, after watching the play, I urge you all to go. I've seen this
play done many times (not to mention owning a copy of the film) and this
production is as good as any I've seen, and a lot better than some. I'm not
just saying that because they all look fabulous, either (grin).
There's only three more nights, so don't miss it.
The Lion in Winter, Nov. 14, 15, 21, 22, curtain 7:30
Island Players at the Second Stage of the Youth Theatre Northwest, 8805 SE
40th St., Mercer Island, WA.
Tickets are $8 per person and can be purchased at the door.
To get to the theater, take your best route to I-90 toward Mercer Island.
Once on the Island, take the Island Crest Way exit. If you're coming from
the Seattle side, the exit will put you going south on Island Crest Way; if
you're coming from the east side I believe you need to take a left onto
Island Crest Way. Continue until you reach SE 40th St., take a left. The
theater will be on your right.
