My traditional New Year's Eve breakfast with my oldest friend. Catching up and great conversation over coffee and food, laughter, memories and love.
Then, coming home to another not-quite-as-old friend on my doorstep. Working together to prep fabric and prepare for a major sewing session tomorrow, and just getting to spend time together, which was not happening during much of the last month.
Now, I just finished dinner with the love of my life. Nothing special, just us and the dog and cat, in front of some very silly television, but home and love and all good things.
So, I'll leave you all with this, in memory of the old year, and in anticipation of the new:
