Ok, I'm still an idiot

but not as bad of one as I thought.  I completely and utterly forgot that I was to have a Saxon outfit done for June Faire (Friday, for those not in the area).  Forgot until I recieved email from the nice, patient and understanding person who will be wearing the outfit, which was this morning.  Luckily, I have fabric in stock that will work, and this is rectangular construction, which I can do relatively quickly.  Also, she doesn't care if it's made all by machine, which really speeds things up. 

The underdress is almost done.  It's slightly tight on me and about 2 inches too long, which means it should work fine for her.  I'll finish it and cut and serge the overdress tonight.  If things keep going well, I might even get it finished tonight, too.

I swear, school has eaten my brain.
