(no subject)

Insprired by ornerie I made a tasty, fast and healthy lunch. About 3 cups of frozen veges put in a covered dish with slivered fresh ginger, tumeric and 3 cloves of garlic. Microwaved for about 7 minutes, stirring about three times. I ate it plain today, but I think tomorrow it's going over rice topped with plain yoghurt.

SCA stuff

Ok, first of all, Sept. Crown has been awarded to Blatha an Oir.  It will be at the Randall site, and be combined with Autumn War to produce a 10-day event.  The total site cost for 10 days will be $55 per person, not too bad.  There are also going to be options for only attending Crown, only attending the last weekend, or attending both (with provisions made for leaving camps up in between, from what I've heard).

The Baronial meeting next month will be  a time to get to know the candidates.  The polling itself will be done by mail; if you have a membership in the Baronial zip codes you'll get a polling form.  The Crown is also soliciting letters of advisement from any and all who have an interest.
