Pooli
Pooli at 15, on July 4, 1959

Pooli served aboard a United States attack transport during the Second World War. Here she is pictured on her fifteenth birthday. Pooli, a veteran who rates three service ribbons and four battle stars, shows she can still get into her old uniform. [7]

When I was with the museum, the ship CSS ACADIA docked there had two ships cats, Clara and Eric(the red). I think they have catster pages, I'll try and find them!

On the count of three... "Awwwwww!"

Just seeing this and finding out she was considered a decorated veteran has lifted me a bit today.

I've seen dogs with medals, but this was the first time I'd seen a cat.

Encouraging . . .

for all those working cats out there. I loved Gandolf and his successor Hunter. too bad their shop had to close because of the crappy economy. I will never know how he is taking retirement.

Too bad, Emmaline is so busy with her committee meetings to get a proper job, unless you consider monitoring the activities of Public Enemy No. 1 all day long a job. Just imagine what she could do if she put her mind to it?

by the way, why CRAPPY?
