That's easy; I don't travel without my camera.  I can do without all the rest, but I take a lot of pictures when I'm on vacation.  They're the best souvenirs.  I also take a sketchbook and pencils, or buy one on the trip.  I don't draw that well, but the pencil sees things that the camera doesn't.

If I had a good camera I would take it, as I do not have a good camera I would maybe take the cell phone depending on what type of vacation it was GPS locater in cell phone. But the ringer would be OFF
