Jul. 25th, 2007 06:58 pmThere's at least two of you out there who won't get this any other way, so I'm copying this:
"Greetings,
After talking with a number of people and bouncing various ideas for an
appropriate memorial recognition for Baron Michael the number one suggestion
has been doing something associated with food and most especially breakfast.
Many folk's best memories of Baron Michael involve being fed and caffeinated
on event mornings. Anyone walking by his tent would be offered coffee as
bait and then many were dragged in and fed whether they were hungry or not.
The second most popular memory involved cheesecake but we will have to see
about that.
So in tribute to Baron Michael Blatha an Oir will be sponsoring a breakfast
on Sunday morning of Autumn War. The location is tentatively at the Tavern.
We still need to firm this up with Baron Emeil. The menu looks to include
Coffee and probably Eggs, Bacon/Sausage and Pancakes. And everyone is
invited to come and share their memories of our wonderful Founding Baron.
Depending on peoples plans there may also be something on Friday night but
no firm plans have come across my email in this area.
Baroness Anne"
